LSI
kicked off its annual beach party on Friday, Aug 28th in Huntington
Beach. The weather welcomed everyone
with a warm and beautiful opportunity to enjoy the cool ocean water. All schools flew their colors and motivated
their volleyball team to do their best. This year’s championship went to the Los Angeles Angels. Congratulations to them for their efforts
and competitive spirit.
One of
the best things about the beach party is the energy students bring to support
their classmates and their school. The
beach party presents an opportunity for students and teachers to break from the
normal routine and just have a day dedicated to fun. It’s always nice to see everyone have a good
time and remember that a new language is about creating new relationships that
will help them in their goal to succeed using English.
The
water games followed the tournament with plenty of excitement. Between tug of war and eating crazy foods,
students got a plenty of sun and sun tans. There were powerful teams and teams that surprised everyone. It was an exciting combination of people
flinging water and sand, the sun’s heat intense rays, and an overwhelming venue
of excitement. To keep that energy
going, this year’s lunch was a delicious Chinese food box that got plenty of
good reviews. It was an unexpected, but
pleasant surprise.
Overall,
it was a fun day at the beach and one that many students will surely
remember. Thank you to everyone who
participated and we hope to see you all again next year in our Language Systems
Beach Party. Have fun and enjoy the rest
of your summer.

Oh my goodness!! This beach party was just fabulous. Thanks a ton for sharing these pictures. This year I didn’t attend any beachside party but I attended a couple of pool parties at local event space San Francisco venues. These pool parties were also very enjoyable.
