Bowling night!

On Thursday, September 24th, DTLA students joined Teacher Caroline for a fun night of bowling at the Shatto 39 Lanes. 






Teacher Mary Jo also joined to bowl a couple of games. It was an incredibly fun night. Everyone cheered, danced and talked the whole time. Definitely, there'll be another night like this soon!

On Friday, June 26th, a group of LSI students joined Teacher Caroline after the evening graduation ceremony, to bowl at Shatto 39 Lanes! 

Everyone had a fantastic time. 

They especially enjoyed the company and good music. 

Very fun atmosphere overall.

Bowling Night with D.J.

Boy, did we have a ball at the Bowl o Drome! The lights were bright, the boys were bombastic, the girls were beautiful and the benevolent Mr D.J. was beaten unbelievably with 2 brilliant strikes in the 10th frame by the beaming  Ahmed Althayidi! Many of us had never bowled before, so we boosted the confidence of the beginners... but those of us who have bowled before, we bravely battled on! BIG UP to Yuriy Brazhnikov, Hiromi Uchida, DEwoshi K Baothman were among the best! High fives, fist bumps, and boisterous laughs were had by all. See you next time!  @LSISouthBay

We LOVE bowling!

On September 14, Natalya, Tim and 15 other students went bowling at Alhambra Bowling Center. The bowling place is located not too far from school. They got there at around 5.30 pm. After paying and putting on the shoes, they split into 3 teams. The game was fun! Some students were very good and they got high scores! 156 points! Those players taught the rest of the students how to play. After the game, the students all went out for dinner to one of the Chinese restaurants near the bowling center.
